WOW INTERNET & CABLE

idea: NO CABLE TUTOR REQUIRED

WOW, an internet and cable provider, understood they couldn’t match the flashy features of streaming services like Xfinity. But what they had was something others didn’t: Ultra TV, a simple, user-friendly streaming experience. Knowing that their core audience—often a more tech-wary crowd—could struggle with complicated systems, this TV campaign focused on one thing: ease. It was all about making entertainment simple again.

idea: WOW, IT’S THAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE

Most internet and cable companies lock you into contracts, hit you with surprise rate hikes, and leave you feeling like just a number. But WOW? It’s a whole different experience. With lightning-fast internet, customer service that actually feels human, and a little Midwest charm, WOW shakes up the “industry…like a big maraca”. In this TV campaign, WOW employees are the heroes, showcasing the brand's ability to surprise and delight.

IDEA: BEWARE OF BUNDLES

Channels you won’t watch. Landlines you don’t need. We’ve all tried signing up for a simple subscription, only to be sold something extra. “It’s a bundle,” they say, “it’ll cost more if you don’t buy one.” Classic cable company nonsense. This spot plays into the absurdity of “bundling”, offering a more straight-forward alternative.
